Anne is qualified in both Scots and English law being a graduate of both the University of Strathclyde and Nottingham Trent. Anne is a long standing member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Anne’s specialist areas are UK and international tax planning for individuals, tax planning for business owners and families as well as advising on the use of both onshore and offshore trusts. Anne regularly advises clients on contentious tax matters, and on moving to the UK, including tax planning for non domiciled individuals ( whilst it still lasts!). As we deal with internationally mobile clients she assists individuals on all residence matters and on leaving the UK protecting their non residence status. Anne also advises business owners on how to structure for retirement and on capital gains tax, stamp duty land tax and inheritance tax.
After spending more than 25 years working in London in various leading accountancy and legal practices, Anne decided to work locally in Cambridge.
Hobbies and interests Anne is a patchwork quilter, a voracious reader and a keen gardener. She is interested in art and paints when she has the time, this does not always sit comfortably with her old school rocker persona and loud music is generally heard around her.
